The EGU-DAMA Type-LEVEL is a small rubber jig developed to land those impossible bass on power finesse and bait finesse tackle. Effective when it’s hung and shook in various cover like timber, laydowns, and bush, as well as vertical structure like concrete walls where even free-falling finesse baits don’t get suspending bass to bite. When thinking of how to get strong bites from these selective suspending bass, the key was to create the perfect horizontal posture. While many jigs on the market claim a horizontal posture, a trailer would typically drag the jig down and result in an imbalanced posture. This is the biggest reasons why bass will turn away from the lure at the last second.

Also, the rubber skirt which is the heart of the small rubber rig was carefully selected. The right hardness, thickness, and cross-section were chosen for the original rubber skirt and new concept tapered skirt.

The jig has a high ability to get bites with its super life-like vibrations created on free falls and with sharp action made with varied strength shaking. It’s also effective when hung or shook on a piece of cover to get bass to detect “an interesting thing that’s invading my territory.” This agitates bass and leads them to strike defensively.
